I love Christmas time! I love the REASON for the SEASON, and now that I have kids being able to share the REASON and the SEASON with them. I love buying gifts for the ones I love, and spreading Christmas cheer! Something about reflecting on the birth of our Savior brings about a special spirit of service and love that you see in most everyone around you this time of year! It gives me hope in human kind, when in general the world we live in seems to get worse everyday. We aren’t putting a tree up this year, so it has felt a bit strange, and less Christmassy than usual….Today i was able to capture that spirit in our little children. They have that special light of Christ in their eyes! They were over the moon to see me pull out some “Christmas lights” and so we had some fun with it, jammies and all!

They started getting kind of squirrely so I gave them some yogurt pretzels….big mistake!
After the yogurt pretzel fiasco we split, so that we could reconvene once the sun had gone down to really set the mood.
