So it's been a good while since my last post, just thought i'd put some pictures up of some fun stuff we've done since January/February or so.....

Jeff and I share a love of hiking and doing outdoorsy stuff.....and jeff more specifically loves to rock climb, and i've always wanted to try it. So jeff took me to his favorite climbing spots so we could hike, and i could try out my awesome skills to give me a good idea of what i was gonna be getting myself into this summer! We did some free climbing and I rather enjoyed myself.

And i thought "I" was a poser...

okay so maybe i am a little more of a poser, but jeff definately brings his 'A' game most of the time.

What better way to come closer to nature than by doing it like they had to do back in the book of mormon times.

This is the beautiful view up in Castlewood Canyon
It got a little steamy up there. Something about a man who can climb like a wild man.
Also jeff took me on a date a WHILE ago to this place called Amazing Jake's it's like Chucky Cheese, but really just an excuse for adults to be able to play games, waste money, and act like a kid ago.
This is what i spent most of my tokens on the gambling games! i understand now why the church frowns on that, it was addicting and not at all rewarding.

Then Jeff who didn't spend all of his tokens on gambling games got to use his on cool games. So needless to say i was jealous and learned my lesson.
We also had a huge blizzard a couple months ago, so jeff and i went sledding down this super steep hill.

As you can see jeff is at the bottom of the hill building our ramp....i caught like a foot of air, it was flippin sweet.
our cars and "yard buried in snow"
We took a trip out to Utah the first week of May for Jeff's bestfriend's sealing, and were able to be there for my mom's b-day... well on the way home we stopped in Palisade which is the exit right after Grand Junction because jeff wanted to go look for his house that he lived in for a couple years during the summer with his dad until age :4. I thought yeah we'll drive around he'll think stuff looks familiar, and we'll go on our merry way. Well not even 10 minutes after taking the exit we were pulling up to his old house. His memory of details astounds me. I don't even remember much about my baptism at age 8 except for the fact i thought this lady from the ward was gonna make a cake and bring it for me, and she NEVER showed up! THANKS ALOT LADY! So here is jeff standing infront of his old house.
Most of you probably don't even bother stopping by my blog cause of my reputation of writing too often and too much but if you read this i hope you enjoyed it. And there will be more to come. I just dont' know how soon! i'm out- Ingrid Harris

We are so Artsy right now.....

Today when jeff got home from work he informed me that he wanted to do a pastel of aurora borealis with a mountainous landscape for his sister Mindy, and that he wanted to run by Michaels to get the materials. And i had been wanting to play around with his wood burner, so we decided i'd do that while he drew and colored........so we picked up some wood, and his supplies, ordered a pizza, and came back and got to work.......

First I decided if i was going to screw up i might as well screw up trying to burn MY face into a slab of wood, it's not perfect, but then again not tooo bad for my first time using a 950 degree piece of metal to draw something.

And it didn't take long at all for me to catch the woodburning bug. As soon as i finished my first masterpiece i wanted to make something for someone else, considering most people wouldn't want a piece of wood with my face on it, plus that'd be pretty tacky for me to give to someone. So a brilliant idea came into my head, i could do a woodburner of my attractive little brother who graduates this year, and it could be the ultimate graduation gift, what 17 year old boy doesn't want a wood burning of himself.......by the way he doesn't look at blogs so i figured it was safe to post pictures of it on here, plus i'm horrible at suprising people.

Here he is the man of the hour. I felt this one was much better than my first attempt at wood burning, i think he'll like it.
Alright enough about me the amateur.....lets talk about jeff the professional artist......here is the genius at work.... And this is the finished product right before he hairsprayed it, and put it in it's lovely frame, to be shipped to his sister. Sorry i didn't get a picture of it framed and all, i'm an impatient woman!
I hope you greatly enjoyed our art show, donations to the ingrid & jeff art fund, can be made payable by cash or check, or gooey choc chip cookies! Love, The Harris Clan

Our First Home Together !

So we've been married for 20 days now......and so i figured i should prob. write a blog. I moved into jeff's apartment which i will show pictures now. the past 2 weeks or so i have given the crib a little TLC as to make it less bachelor paddy. I'm going to give you a tour of our apartment, but not only am i going to give you a tour, i'm going to make you feel as though you are actually here seeing it for yourself......alright so i don't have a job yet, and have alot of time on my hands.......so here we go.

This is our front door, and as you can see right by the front door is a white board/ cork board so that jeff and i can ourselves or one another messages or reminders, and we can keep important papers pinned up where we won't loose or forget them....handy huh?!

Now lets say you just walked through the front door and turned to your left, you would then be entering our kitchen....

Yeah sorry nothing special in here.....

Alright now lets go back into the entry way and continue straight into the living room.....

This is where jeff makes me fires all the time....and where i make s'mores-yum!
Here's a cool lamp that jeff and i got with a few of our target gift cards-thanks guys! oh and the really awesome christ painting my parents got us for christmas...thanks mom and dad!
oh and you're probably wondering what that white thing on the wall is, well dont' worry i'll tell you.
What we have here is a 126" screen for our projector, which is used for watching CSI, and other awesome television entertainment, watching an action packed movie, playing a game of rockband, or checking my facebook, or gmail.....cool huh? i'll never need to wear my glasses ever again (if i were to spend the rest of my life infront of this screen) but who's bragging?
Alright now we have the rest of the apartment still so we can't stay here looking at that awesome screen, on the opposit wall we have our dining room. complete with projector chandelier. oh and our cute christmas tree courtesy of my parents, THEY ARE SO NICE!!!!
alright now there is a cool window that connects the dining room, living room, and kitchen all together. Talk about classy!
Here's the same coolio window from another perspective......take it in baby!
Now i skipped the first room in the hallway, cuz it's boring it's the laundry room, plus i realized that my bra's were hanging up in the picture and that's embarrassing-and guess who's too lazy to go and retake it. So here is the second room down the hallway the bathroom. Which i decorated! I love these colors together, the towels that you see were the inspiration for this room.
rest of the bathroom.
This is the third room of the hallway but the first room on the left side. This is our spare bedroom as you can see there is a pile of bedding, which is because we haven't gotten a bed in this room yet. which is also why not much decorating has been done, i have to wait and see what kind of space etc. i have to work with but the colors are black, red, and white.
other corner of the spare bedroom.
Now at the very end of the hall is our bedroom..... and this is all i have, due to the fact that blogspot is being dumb, and won't let me upload any more pictures.....but we also have a big walk in closet, and a bathroom off of our room, and then there is a shower room that connects that bathroom with the first one that i did have pictures of
.....so i guess it wasn't EXACTLY like you were here seeing it for yourself, but ah well i give up. Hope everyone had a wonderful new year!

At Home In Colorado

So alot has changed since my previous post....Oct 10 i jumped in my car and drove straight to Aurora C.O. and i'm living there! Why? you may ask....but for those of you who may have read my blog in the past may remember a post or two about Jeff Harris, well we're back together and better than ever. I live approx. 8 minutes away from him-it's great! We hang out all the time: go on bike rides, play rock band, watch smallville together, go to his clients, go karaoking- it's amazing and i'm quite smitten with him. We also had a few get together at his house, we invited the missionaries over and a guy from his work for dinner. Also we had one of his hometeachers over for dinner one night and he brought his WII over. Then we made this awesome chili the other day Jeff's secret recipe and i have to say it's the best chili i've ever tasted, anyway we made it for a couple's get together we had on monday, altho only one couple was able to make it but it was still fun. So i've been living with this lady named pam, she's a single mom, with two kids living at home. Jaedyn is 7 and he's in 2nd grade. And there is Jazmyne who is 4 we call her Jazzy and she's quite a handful. I have to wake up at 6:30 every morning to get Jaedyn up for school....BLEH and i am no morning person, this my mom knows after four year of having to drag me out of bed every morning for seminary. As for Jazzy she keeps me busy during the day she's still in diapers hasn't been potty trained. She's kind of slow, and so she can't really speak either, but we've been working on that alot. She's made alot of improvement since i've been here. I'm trying to get her away from grunting and pointing to things, and i tell her "Jazzy you have to use your words or i don't know what you want"....so that's been helping but she pouts ALOT, i taught her the word 'Whatsup?!?' which was pretty cute to hear her say. Infact i took the kids to the park today.....

When i'm not with the kids i spend every waking moment with jeff. We had his ward's halloween Trunk or Treat Activity on Friday the 24th, we spend like 3 hours finding our halloween costumes and everyone loved them!

So i had been wanting to go back to my natural hair color for a while, so i guess i grabbed a shade or two too dark.....but i kind of like it.

Well i'm sure i'll be posting again soon HAHA! no but really i'm gonna try to be a bit more regular with my blogging .....love and miss you all back in Utah or where ever you may be!-Ingrid

Consistency...

I'm merely trying to be consistent-the ability to maintain a particular standard or repeat a particular task with minimal variation.

I have managed to blog sparcely however keep a relatively equal (though long) amount of time between each entry.Perhaps it is my subconscious being taken over by my OCD.

Either way it's been a while.....eh not much has changed i'm still working for Raincheck, at both the sp. fork, and am. fork locations. I have a second job at DownEast Basics. It's a cute but modest clothing store here in utah with a few locations in idaho and nevada perhaps.....anyhow so i spend alot of time working. i'm still going to the gym regularly and i believe it is paying off.

I went to colorado the 6th and was there for the weekend visiting jeff, it was nice we went on a 14 mile bike ride on road bikes( and i haven't ridden a bike since i learned to ride one basically) but it was nice....eventually when i'm rich i'll prob. buy a nice road bike to go out on. We went bowling, jeff has his own bowling ball and bowling shoes......so i guess i shouldn't have been surprised when he tripled my score. But i'm sure it didn't help that my ball was 14 lbs....but it was pink and it matched my outfit wonderfully! he kept telling me i needed a lighter ball, but i just told him "nope i like this one". So yeah i suck at bowling. The water in Aurora, CO is amazing! It tastes better than bottled water (For those of you who don't know me as well as i like to assume people do. i'm a huge water snob, and hate utah water, therefore i only drink bottled water) It was soo amazing i loved it. Also gas prices are like $0.30 cheaper there. I wanted to take some back with me, but i probably wouldn't have made it through security with 12 gallons of gasoline.....

So that was fun, and now i'm back to working all the time. Trying to figure out where i'm gonna live come august, who the heck i'm gonna live with come august, whether or not i really want to go to UVU....eh- alot of things are up in the air.

Oh yeah FYI- Jeff and I broke up, it's cool....he's still my best friend and we're talking still. But just don't ask me about him okay? well hope all is well with everyone else. MUAH!-ingrid

So....it's about time.

So once again i have found that a substantial amount of time has passed without me writing a blog....so here it goes.
Now I will warn you my life is really exciting, and i don't know if you all can digest the details i'm about to share with you....i'll give you an idea of what i'm talking about, by mapping out my daily routine.

8:10 am- unfortunately my alarm goes off (by alarm i mean the sound of a rooster crowing the only tone on my phone that can wake me from my death sleep) I hit snooze
8:20 am- my alarm goes off once more- I hit snooze
8:30 am- my alarm goes off again-I hit snooze hopefully for the last time. lay there for a min.
8:40 am- my eyes snap open cuz i didn't get up at 8:30, and if i don't throw myself together and
leave by 8:45 i will be late for work.
9:00 am- hopefully i clock in at work. and start my oh so eventful day
*Between 9am-6pm I call people to come in and give me money, i write checks to people, listen to music, fill out court papers, message audrey on msn messenger, watch videos on you tube, and think about how much fun i'm having all alone in an office by myself drink cup after cup of water. but the cups are tiny so i have to go from my desk to the water station every 5 minutes or so
6:00 pm- i close everything down and balance, and run out the door jump in my car. you know how in musicals when the characters are exstatic about their lives and flying on majic carpets they sing. This is what i do in my car on the way home from work....elated to be freed back in the real world.
6:30 pm- i pull up to my apartment. i then remember i had no reason to rush home, because i have no plans tonight, cuz i have no friends. So i make myself a salad and then something that tastes good but that is quick. (FYI- i've been eating vegetables lately FYIdos- for those who know me this is huge!)
7:00 pm- i wash my dishes from dinner and put them straight into the dishwasher (it's amazing how that works. i think i need to teach this to my room mates)
7:30 pm- i finally realize there is nothing to do. so i throw on my work out clothes and head to Gold's Gym, and am there for a good 2 hours usually, riding bikes, seeing how fast i can go on the olyptical (approx a million miles an hour i have witnesses that can attest to
this ) pumping some iron, and drinking cold water from the ice cold Gold's water fountain.
10:00 pm- i arrive back home and struggle up the stairs(it's more of a crawl to our apartment. I pull my sopping wet off and jump in the shower for about half an hour.
10:30 pm- if jeff isn't still working i'll talk to him on the phone, or get ready for bed, so that i can talk to him later. I pass out usually around 11. Sleep soundly till i hear the awful crow of a rooster at 8:10 in the morning.

Now.....I know you're all jealous, but not everyone can lead the life of a rockstar! The purpose of this entry despite what you may think was not to make you envy my social agenda, but to shed a little light onto what you would be continually reading if i WERE to update regularly.

So this is usually how my days go...however i did get a break from my kaotic life for a week in March the 11-16 i was in florida with jeff for his dad's 50th birthday i guess i will include some pictures from our trip......it was amazing!

The weekend before florida jeff came to visit, meet the fam and such.....

As you can see he's wearing his sunday best....he's trying to start a trend of a CTR ring on the tie, i think it's dorky, but that's part of why i like him.

Here's the both of us before church the sunday before our Florida trip.

Jeff and I at the Melting Pot for his sister Mindy's surprise birthday gathering....and yes he's wearing a tanktop at the Melting Pot, (side not Jeff never checks his luggage cause then if it gets lost he has nothing to wear...so he always packs as light as he can) So we were all joking at dinner about how he just didn't have room in his luggage to pack anything with sleeves.

This is jeff's dad's house in Ft. Myers Florida.
He lives right on the beach (he's a millionaire)
And their landscaping was as you can see quite beautiful!

Here is the pool and some tables set up for the big party.....
You can see in the back the dock that goes out to the river.
I loved all the palm trees out there.

Here's a shot from the end of the dock, looking up the river.

This is another shot from the end of the dock showing the beach and house.

My superman...if you look closely you can see my reflection in his sunglasses.

Since we were there the 4 days leading up to the party we had the privilege of getting the house and surrounding areas ready for the party. One of Jeff's chores was raking the entire beach.
So here's Jeff working up a sweat under the Florida sun.

I don't have too many pictures fromthe actual party, but this was the bar. Jeff's dad hired 2 bartenders for the night and there were well over 100 people there, so i don't think pictures are really necessary, you can proabably guess about how the party went.

There was a chocolate fountain at the party.....and Mindy caught me
feeding Jeff, I guess his hands were full?

Now that i've done a little show and tell about my trip i'll tell you a fun yet spiritual story about our trip. When Jeff was packing for florida he was going through his drawers as to make sure he didn't forget anything he would need. He started with his top drawer where he keeps his B.O.M's shut it and went on to the next one, but he felt prompted to grab a B.O.M. Jeff didn't really know why especially since we were going there for a party for his dad and alot of worldly things would be going on, and they're all very anti-mormon and give him a hard time about the way his lives his life now that he has embraced the gospel.....but he figured he should prob. listen to the prompting so he pack it along. The second day he pulled it out and showed it to me and told me about his feeling. He then decided to put it in the basket of reading material in the guest bathroom, since an opportunity hadn't presented itself and we would only be there 3 more days. It was the day of the party and Jeff needed some lotion so he went to look for some in the bathroom, and found that Laura his stepmom had thrown the book of mormon in a drawer so no one would see it in HER bathroom (she's very anti) He just figured whatever and left it there, since he still didn't know why he was suppose to bring it. At the party Jeff and i were just sitting off by ourselves at a table just kind of watching everything going on. When he turned to me and pointed out a girl and said we should go talk to her. (we had seen her have a fight with her date earlier, who had desserted her there, and she seemed pretty lonely and upset.) When we went to sit with her, her face lit up. We began making conversation....she admired us for how we were dancing and having fun, yet she knew we hadn't been drinking(we were the only 2 sober people at the party). The discussion quickly turned to the fact we were mormon. We then talked to this girl about the gospel for almost 2 hours. Jeff since he now knew where the B.O.M was hidden when and got it, and the girl seemed very eager to read it. She asked him how many he had brought, and when he told her only one. She said "You brought this for me, I know this book was meant for me" Isn't that awesome. The last place either Jeff or I thought we would find someone searching for the gospel would of been at that party.....and we never would of guessed it would be her. So that was a fun little story. Well I love everyone that reads my blog, and makes comments. And since this we'll prob. be the only blog you'll see for the next month or more (since i seem to be consistently inconsistent with my blogging) , i hope you enjoy it. Perhaps since it's soooo long you can split it up, and treat it as if it were really 3 seperate blogs. Well so long till next time.

Ingrid Louise Mundy= FAILURE

I don't even know why i bother living.....
I can't even write in my blog regularly. Even Aunt Becky is disappointed in me......(*tear)

Well not a whole lot has gone down since my last post. Except for my first day at UVSC my car got booted $50......my second day of school my car got towed from the Walmart parking lot, cuz apparently you can't park there for more than three hours- GAY! $135. My college in Kansas still hadn't sent my transcripts to UVSC so i couldn't get into the english class i needed. my academic advisor is an ugly beast, who didn't help me do anything except for think of violent things...she would go out of town when i needed her, and not call me back, and she has a mustache that she should shave sometime....anyways the above listed sequence of events combined with much more, all relatively frustrating things have led me to drop all of my classes and take yet another semester off from school. i'll be working all this semester, and then i will attend UVSC for a summer semester so i won't be behind where i had planned to be -come the next school year. So i'm a bum and not in school. I'm sure my parents are proud.

Last night when Audge and i went to Smiths i just about knocked out the cashier lady, i was trying to use the self checkout machine which i've never been challenged with however the stupid faulty machine would tell me to put my items in the bag, and after doing so would then tell me i had to put the items back in the bag. the funny thing is that they were in the bag, and i never took them out. the scanner was also only able to read barcodes about 1 in every 97 attempts..... and so while trying to hold my tongue realizing how crazy it would look if i were to vocally demolish a self checkout station. when the cashier lady comes oup and grabs one of my items and throws it back on the scanner and tells me i hadn't rung it up. Yes you heard me she threw it, not very smart considering my current mood. Did she seriously think i was trying to steal something?!?! she couldn't have been nice and just said "oh this didn't seem to ring up" instead she accuses me of purposefully not ringing it up. i wanted to dominate her face with my fist. Well i'm gonna get back to work. i hope this post was sufficient to maybe earn my way back into the blogging community.
